초록
The soy bean oils, camellia oils and beef tallows are commonly edible liplds in the Korean foods. This study was undertaken to evaluate the metabolic effects of these lipids supplemented diets in the healthy young males. The changes of blood pressure, blood sugar levels, hematocrit, hemoglobin, S-GOT, S-GPT, S-alkaline phosphatase, serum lipids, cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol levels and platelet aggregation rates were determined. The results were as fellows : 1. When the subjects ingested the total lipids of 25 en% and supplemented lipids of 15 en% in the diets, there were no significant changes in the blood sugar levels, hemoglobin, hematocrit, S-G0T, S-GPT, and S-alkaline phosphatase levels. 2. The body weights were not changed after ingestion of lipids supplemented diets. 3. The serum total lipid levels were increased when the beef tallow supplemented diets was fed. 4. The high lipids content diets had a tendency to increase the serum total cholesterol levels than usual diets. 5. The serum HDL-cholesterol levels were decreased when the soy bean oils and camellia oils supplemented diets were fed. 6. The platelet aggregation rates were decreased when the soy bean oils and camellia oils supplemented diets were fed. 7. The systolic and diastolic blood pressures were decreased in camellia oils supplemented diets groups. These data demonstrated that the metabolic effects of soy bean oils and camellia oils supplemented diets were different from those of beef tallow supplemented diets.
