Laparoscopic Antireflux Surgery

초록

Esophageal achalasia and paraesophageal hiatal hernia is a special situation which needs additional anti-reflux surgery during the management of the disease. For achalasia, Heller myotomy with anti-reflux surgery is mandatory to avoid postsurgical reflux complication. This procedure also available with minimally invasive surgical approach and showed high remission rate (90%) and low morbidity rate (6.3%). Surgical treatment should be considered for symptomatic paraesophageal hernia. Surgical procedures for paraesophageal hernia consisted with reduction of the herniated organs, securing the proper length of the intraabdominal esophagus, crura repair, and antireflux surgery. Anti-reflux surgical procedure with or without Collis gastroplasty should be considered to reduce postoperative dysphasia and reflux. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.
