초록

Forced cruption means intentional extrusion of tooth by application of continuous, weak force on the tooth. We can use this technique to restore a tooth which has cervical crown fracture, defects on the cervical third of the root and one/two walled periodontal defect. Forced eruption is an useful treatment modality in these difficult situations. The clinicians have to know the biology, physiology and anatomy of normal dental units throughly to get a good functional and esthetic treatment results. In this article we will describe the considering factors and clinical applications of forced eruption technique.
