Analysis of International Journals for the Spinal Disorders

Recently, acceptance of publication for major, high quality international journals has been increasing from Korean investigators as research and clinical study results meet the levels of qualifications and standards required. This is also true for Korean neurosurgeons submitting manuscripts to the well-known international journals. However, there are still some unfamiliarities and not enough information for proper selection of journals to which scope and aim are met for ideal submission and publication. The purpose of this work was to provide the information on major quoted international journals (i.e., journals indexed as Science Citation Index and/or Science Citation Index Expanded), with regards to spinal disorders or related subjects, to served as useful tips when considering the submission of research or clinical works to these journals.
