암환자 및 보호자의 스트레스에 미치는 영향 요인의 탐색

초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors influencing stress among cancer patients and their caregivers. To achieve this, the study analyzed data from a mental health screening assessment conducted on cancer patients (n=166) and their caregivers (n=114) who utilized mental health services at OO University Hospital. The results showed that the average stress level of cancer patients was 15.36 (SD=6.64), which was slightly higher than that of their caregivers (M=14.88, SD=7.54). However, this difference was not statistically significant. Significant predictors of stress among cancer patients included age and mobility level, whereas for caregivers, age, daily caregiving hours, and their relationship to the patient were significant factors. Based on these findings, this study discusses social welfare practice and policy implications aimed at alleviating stress among cancer patients and their caregivers.
