조혈모세포이식을 위한 laminar air flow 텐트의 보호격리효과

초록

Background: High cost for setting up laminar air flow(LAF) unit room is a cause that hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) patients should bear the excessive expense. Methods: We installed an inexpensive LAF plastic tent, which met standard requirement of BioLogical Clean Room Class 100, in a simple single room as a substitute of LAF unit room. The protective isolation effect of LAF plastic tent is reported, here. Results: Forty-six HSCT patients were enrolled in this study. Overall engaftment rate was 97.8%(45/46). Fever was developed in 25 patients (54.3%) and mean duration was 4.5days. All of them except one were recovered with appropriate antimicrobial therapies . Among allogeneic HSCT patients, 38.9%(7/18) showed CMV-infection curable by preemptive ganciclovir therapy and 22.2%(4/18) underwent acute GVHD controllable with immunosuppressive therapy. 22 (47.8%) patients represented excellent of good feeling and 9 (19.6%) patients expressed common feeling. In 15 (32.6%) patients with bad of grave feeling, fourteen were suffered from fever and three underwent acute GVHD. Oppressive (35/46, 76.1%) and noisy (22/46, 47.8%) sensation could be alleviated by encouragement and medication. Conclusoin: These data may suggest that the LAF plastic tent placed in a simple single room have a function next to LAF unit isolation room.
