초록
The development of balloon-assisted enteroscopy has enabled real-time observation of the entire small intestine and diagnosis and treatment of small bowel lesions. Balloon-assisted enteroscopy is usually performed by an experienced endoscopist. The endoscopic insertion is performed by shortening the small intestine using a balloon and an overtube. This chapter describes the basic insertion methods and tips of both double and single balloon enteroscopy. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2022.
