- For outstanding coverage of the latest advances in hypertension research, turn to Blood Pressure, a primary source for authoritative and timely information on all aspects of hypertension research and management. Features include: /// Physiology and pathophysiology of blood pressure regulation /// Primary and secondary hypertension /// Cerebrovascular and cardiovascular complications of hypertension /// Detection, treatment and follow-up of hypertension /// Non pharmacological and pharmacological management /// Large outcome trials in hypertension Blood Pressure is endorsed by the European Society of Hypertension (ESH). Blood Pressure is open for submission of the following types of articles: Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Letters to the Editor and Case Reports. Editorials are in most cases written by the Editors or otherwise by invitation only. However, traditionally a special feature has been Personal Views, in which distinguished scientists present thoughts, views, debates and reviews that address important topics of great current interest; these may be submitted as Review Article with “Personal View” clearly marked as subtitle and in the cover letter. Blood Pressure has also published announcements of important hypertension meetings and occasionally short reports from Hypertension Societies world-wide; these may be submitted as Letters to the Editor. Other articles requiring extensive space, such as monographs, doctoral theses and congress transactions, may be published as supplements.
