Abstract
This study was to assess the optimal timing for non-cardiac surgery (NCS) after drug-eluting stents (DES) implantation in patients who are scheduled for NCS. In conclusions, patients undergoing early NCS within 3 months after the PCI with DES may associate with adverse outcomes. Therefore we suggest that NCS should be deferred at least 3 months after the DES implantation. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
