- Abstract
- Abstract. An anti-N lectin suitable for use as a diagnostic laboratory reagent and for experimental investigations has been prepared from leaves of the Korean Vicia unijuga Al. Braun Var. ouensanense leveile by absorption of the crude leaf extracts with pooled human type M cells. It is suggested that it may also prove possible to fractionate similarly type-specific lectins from other plant extracts currently considered to be non specific hemagglutinins.
