Abstract
Dermabacter hominis (D. hominis) is a recently discovered gram-positive bacterial species, and it is usually recognized as an opportunistic human pathogen. Very few documented cases of severe infections caused by Dermabacter hominis have been published. In this report, we describe a case of fatal septicemia caused by Dermabacter hominis. © 2011 by The Korean Society of Infectious Diseases.
